| You have two options for getting and maintaining your handicap from EWGA-Los Angeles |
| |
- If your golf will be more recreational and played mostly within EWGA, you may want to try GLMS. It is free.
- If you intend to play in tournaments outside EWGA, you may want to consider using the WSCGA service. The WSCGA is more mainstream.
The GLMS (Golf Life Management System) is free to all EWGA members. All scores in this system are posted via the internet, not at any computer in the golf course pro shops. More detailed information about this member benefit is available on http://www.ewga.com/, then click on Golf Life Management System.
The other option is to use WSCGA (Women's Southern California Golf Association) service. This has a current annual cost of $26, with annual renewals occurring in April. This system allows you to post your scores in most local pro shops or the internet. For this fee, the WSCGA sends you a monthly handicap card in the mail. More info can be found at http://www.womensgolf.org/wscga/.
To join WSCGA, please contact our Handicap Chair at handicap@ewgala.org. She will email you the form you need to fill-out to join. This form can then be mailed with your $26 directly to WSCGA. |
