LA DIEGO CUP vs San Diego - InterChapter Match - Saturday Sep 11, 2010 - 10:00 AM

Inter Chapter Competition - Handicap Required Returning to our previous venue - all players will play the Red Tees 70.9/129 5,130 yards. Fees include golf, shared cart and bbq lunch at the turn w/ awards following golf. DEADLINE to register - September 4th. We will look up your September index before the tournament. Tournament Instructions: The format will be a modified Match Play. Players will be paired by handicap based on September 1st index. Two from LA chapter and two from SD chapter in each foursome. The player in each foursome with the lowest course handicap will have zero "pops". The other three players will have "pops" equal to the difference between thier handicap and the lowest in their foursome. The player on each hole who has the lowest score after subtracting their pops will win one point for thier team. If there is a tie between a player from LA and a player from SD- each team will get 1/2 point for that hole. Each foursome has a total of 18 points available. After adding up the points from all foursomes - the team with the most points will win the 2010 LA Diego Cup.
Schedule: 9:00 am Check In begins 10:00 - First Tee Time Pick up your BBQ lunch at the turn 4:30 - Meet in the clubhouse after golf for drinks and awards.
