Hello Ladies,

It was another nice day to play golf.  The theme of the day was 2 putt.  A big thanks to Linda the pro at Heartwell for another wonderful clinic who emphasized the importance of making the first putt to set up 2^nd to hole out. They have wonderful teaching pros at Heartwell and are very accommodating to members of EWGA.


Another welcome to guest Naomi Pinto we hope you will join us as a new member soon.  
Welcome new members Nancy Marchutz and Patricia Lott (who left after nine holes) and Betsy Baker (her second event).Betsy Baker chipped-in on the 1^st hole and won $11. 
This is the second event in a

row that Betsy has had a chip-in. Congrats!  There was a tie for low putts between Jenni Kwok and Barbara Trivison each had 32, the tie was broken with the prize going to the player with the lower score. Barbara had the lower of the 2 scores with a 69 and was awarded the Roger Dunn gift card.


The next 9 is Enough will be played at the Links at Terranea there are still spots available and the deadline to sign up is September 9, 2010, check the EWGALA website for more information.

P.S. I just want to remind everyone of basic etiquette on the putting green.  Players should not stand or walk on another player’s line of putt or when she is making a stroke, cast a shadow over her line of putt.
