| NINE-IS-ENOUGH! |
| | | | |
Our 9 is Enough program is designed for new golfers who want to learn, or might be intimidated by an 18 hole round. This program is designed to educate and prepare the golfer with the necessary traditions, rules and etiquette of golf so that a new golfer can learn to play confidently. There are 9 is Enough events offered every month, many have an educational clinic or component. Join us! This is the place to start if you are new to golf! |
| |
The primary goal of the NINE-IS-ENOUGH (9E) is to support and develop new golfers: |
| | | | |
9E events take place on 9-hole executive-length and 18-hole par 3 courses in different parts of Los Angeles county. 9E events allow members to play on a regular schedule with other new and experienced golfers, gaining confidence as the season progresses. 9E events bridge the gap from driving range or lessons to playing on courses designed to be more forgiving but challenging enough to make that leap to regulation 18 holes less intimidating.
|
| Meet your 9E golf event host along with members of the Board of Directors several of whom participate in every 9E event. |
| | | | |
But NINE-IS-ENOUGH isn’t just for new golfers… experienced golfers can: |
| | | | |
Brush up on your short game, the scoring zone. Sixty-five to seventy percent of scoring on the golf course takes place from 100 yards and in. Support our new golfers and members, by mentoring them for a round of golf. Network and meet new friends.
|
There is a 9E event every month. There is always time to go shopping after 9E. Plan on joining us at our next event. Sign up now by going to the EVENTS page. And feel free to bring another new golfer to learn with you! |

Below you will find various documents designed to help you understand the Rules of Golf. Playing by the rules and observing the guidelines for etiquette and pace of play make the round more enjoyable for everyone.
