A handicap is a calculation that includes your average round score, and the rating of a given course. As part of your EWGA membership, you may enter your scores online to obtain your handicap. | | HOW DO I GET A HANDICAP? | | You have two options for getting and maintaining your handicap. | | | - If your golf will be more recreational and played mostly within EWGA, you may want to try the GLMS (Golf Life Management System). It is free to all EWGA members. All scores in this system are posted via the internet. To do so, you must activate your account via the EWGA HQ website, www.ewga.com. Click on the radio butt titled "Handicap Service", then on the link "Activate Handicap" follow the instruction.
- If you have an interest in playing tournaments outside EWGA, you may want to consider using the Women's Southern California Golf Association service. (WSCGA)
