An Am(y)azing Member Kickoff
On a lovely, but slightly chilly Saturday morning, 60 women showed up  to enjoy breakfast, learn more about EWGA, reconnect with golf friends, win a few golf prizes and hear LPGA Hall of Famer Amy Alcott talk about her new book The Leaderboard.

EWGA LA President Deb Dakouzlian presented Kathy Malmfeldt with the first ever "Double Eagle Award" for her tireless efforts on behalf of EWGA LA.  Kathy has held most of the board positions and was a founding member of this chapter.  While she is no longer active on the board, she is still active and volunteers to help several of our activities.  Well deserved Kathy!!

Membership Chair Karen White headed this outstanding event and acknowledged some of the great work done by the committee:
Cathy Fuller and Mercedes Narez, the gift boxes and the centerpieces were a huge hit. Everyone left feeling like they won something. People were eyeing the centerpieces at the beginning of the event and asking me how to get them!
Susan Watkins Cake-O were very popular!  And if you want to get your own fabulous cake O, or a cake for another special occasion, visit www.cakessuzette.com.

Susan, Roberta Kantola and Coral Hawthorne did a great job with registration. It was a well-oiled machine and everyone felt very welcome.

Laura Perry, Cathy Fuller, Mercedes Narez, Nina Guttman and Joyce Murdock did a great job selling the raffle tickets. We brought in more than $700!

In addition to the Membership Committee, several members of the Board helped make the event a success:
Thanks to Chris Devine Dailey, we had an incredible number of quality gifts for the raffle and great vendor displays. In this economy, this is an amazing feat.
Linda Kueny organized the golf event (a huge help) and also took lots of great photos at both the kickoff and golf.

LOG ON --- OR PAY MORE
A recent change to the Golf Fusion registration program makes logging on as a member REQUIRED to view the Member Price for an event.

So, if you  have been not yet registered on the site (and have been registering for events bypassing the log on), you will need to register to see the member price.  This website does not recognize your EWGA national password and log-on, so you will need to create a new one for this site.

How do I do that?  When you arrive at the HOME PAGE - select MEMBER LOG ON in the upper right corner. If it is your first time logging on, make up a User ID and Password (right hand box).  If you have previously created a User ID and Password - enter it (left hand box) before you try and register for an event.
If you try and bypass this by going directly to event registration, or by20logging in as a guest, only the GUEST Price will display for your registration - $10 more for 18 hole events and $5 more for 9E events.

If you have forgotten a User ID and Password that you created specifically for this site, contact our webmaster, Laura Perry at laura.perry@sbcglobal.net.
